Straat was founded in 2005 as a real estate investment firm. We've been successfully acquiring, developing and monetizing residential and commercial real property -- and happily delivering above average returns to our shareholders -- ever since.

Perhaps a bit ahead of our time, prior to the birth of the Web 2.0 era, we realized that we could apply the same common sense principles we used to guide our real estate investments to the Internet -- and we began investing heavily in a class of assets we like to call "virtual real estate."

Through the acquisition and development of a premium portfolio of Internet domain names, destination web-sites, and web-based product and service companies, we have consistently generated returns for our shareholders that have exceeded expectations, often by many multiples.
